Student Handbook

The Student Handbook is now available on My Learning Centre. You can find it in the Student Support section (you will need to log in), or click here to access it. You should read it carefully, and ensure you understand it fully. If you have any questions on the student handbook , please contact your tutor. Please also make sure you download, print and complete the form stating that you have read and understood its contents.

A variety of how to videos and documents that will support your academic skills.

Some Background on Our Learning Applications

Nearly all of our educational applications use ‘Google technology’. My Mail for example, is based on Gmail. The only real differences are:

• You will not see any advertising
• The MyOTC logo appears on all pages
• The materials we share through it are only available to students and staff of the college

If you want to learn more about Google applications watch this video. It is produced by Google and introduces all of its key features. The video is 17 minutes long and you’ll really need broadband to watch it properly.
